James Champion

Director

James has a lifelong passion for computers that started with Windows 95, when he was just 3 years old. Growing up in a technologically evolving world, he pursued this interest at college, studying fundamentals of electronics and systems engineering before securing a role in first line technical support. He progressed to third line on-site support and has since become a Ubiquiti certified specialist.

With over 10 years of experience in the field, James is excited to take on the role of Director at Architech IT combining his professional knowledge with Guy’s business expertise.

Outside of work James is an avid fan of theme parks and his second love, after computers, is classic cars. You can often find him tinkering in the garage or planning a road trip across Europe.

Guy is also Owner / Managing Director of Architectural Plants.

ArchiTech IT supports Architectural Plants with all of their Wifi & Network infrastructure. They have expanded the Wifi reach to include all of the sales areas and added CCTV hardware to ensure the site is secure. We welcome customers to visit Architectural Plants to see what can be achieved in your business or home. ArchiTech IT also provides full IT support to the 40 strong team.

Guy partnered with James having seen his passion for his field of work and excellent work ethic.

ArchiTech IT is also an excellent complement to Architectural Plants as many of their existing customers have businesses and homes with indoor and outdoor spaces that could be supported & improved by ArchiTech IT.

Guy rowed across the Indian Ocean in 2009, breaking two world records. In 2011 he co-founded the award winning charity Streetscape, a horticultural apprenticeship scheme for 18-25 year olds. Guy returned to Architectural Plants in 2015 as Managing Director. Streetscape was replaced by the apprenticeship scheme, AP Homegrown. ArchiTech IT intends to take on apprentices through this scheme going forward.
